Ryutaro Kotaki
Chairman
Japan Automatic Identification
Systems Association

Thank you for your continued valuable support and contribution to the activities of the Japan Automatic Identification Systems Association.
This year marks the 23rd edition of the AUTO-ID & COMMUNICATION EXPO. Recognized at home and abroad as Japan’s only trade show dedicated to automatic identification technology and solutions, it has become a popular and highly anticipated event. We are truly grateful to everyone whose support and interest has made this possible.
With “Connecting to the Future through AUTO-ID” as its theme, the exhibition will introduce cutting-edge ID technologies. In the zone exhibition area, visitors can enjoy specialized zones, such as Mobile & Wearable Zone and Imaging Zone, to their heart's content. In addition, at the theme exhibition, “A BRIGHTER FUTURE with AUTO-ID,” with the theme of “AUTO-ID Supporting the SDGs,” visitors can experience first-hand the next stage in the evolution of automatic identification, which is a key technology for achieving the SDGs.
In conjunction with the Expo, this year we will again hold an automatic identification seminar to present examples of cutting-edge applications and the latest technological trends, which we believe are useful for acquiring knowledge and solving on-site problems. We hope you will use the Expo as an opportunity to promote exchanges with people from various industries and positions.
With the concurrent exhibitions IFPEX2021 (International Fluid Power Exhibition 2021), Measuring Technology Expo 2021, TEST2021 (Japan Testing Technology Show 2021), and Sensor Expo Japan 2021 Autumn, we expect to see many visitors.
In order to ensure the safe implementation and operation of the exhibition and seminars, the exhibition secretariat will take measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in cooperation with the facility secretariat and related parties.
With the support of participating companies, we are confident that the Expo will bring together the collective efforts of the entire industry and provide an opportunity to widely promote automatic identification technology as one of the fundamental technologies for the major transformation of systems and business structures through DX (Digital Transformation) and the realization of a green society.
We look forward to your participation in this year’s Expo.
